The No-Lock Anti-Lock Plate

No-Lock is an anti-lock plate that prevents a door from accidentally being locked by a toddler.  It can be easily installed in a few minutes with the use of a screwdriver.  

No-Lock anti-lock plate easily attaches to the face of the door latch plate using the two existing latch plate screws.  Bathroom and bedroom doors when locked, prevent the exterior doorknob from rotating to retract the latch bolt inward.  When locked, the latch bolt remains extended in the doorframe strike plate.  The No-Lock anti-lock plate blocks the latch bolt from extending beyond the door latch plate into the doorframe strike plate.  As a result, the door will open even when the door is in the locked mode.

The No-Lock anti-lock plate is flush with the face of the door latch plate and flexible enough to fit over the latch bolt if it extends outward beyond the latch plate.
